Biography
Joseph Lickorish was born on 13 June 1875 in Leamington Hastings, Warwick. He and Lucy Beatrice were married. He witnessed the marriage of Thomas Lickorish and Lucy Smith on 16 October 1900 in Leamington Hastings. Joseph Lickorish and Mary Wilcock were married in September 1936 in Lancaster. He died on 7 February 1941, at age 65, in Torrisholme, Lancaster.
Joseph Lickorish was a Station Master at Kirkby Lonsdale, known as Wennington Junction. He was baptised on 11 July 1875 in Kytes Hardwick. He was a Lamp Porter for 16 shillings a week, with the Midland Railway at Eckington hi s height was 5' 9'' and he was single. on 1 December 1892. He appeared in the census in 1911 in Station House, Kirby Lonsdale., shows Joseph aged 35 married for 3 years no children, is Station Master. Wife Lucy Beatrice aged 37. They have 4 rooms. He made a will on 7 February 1941 shows living at Springfield, Torrisholme Road, Lancaster died at Co-Op stores Torrisholme Road.Probate to Mary Lickorish Wife. Effects £1448-6-6d.
