Jonathan Lickorish was born on 23 February 1839 in Birdingbury, Warwick. He and Ann Eagles were married on 18 October 1858 in Leamington Hastings, Warwick. He died on 26 October 1907, at age 68, in Leamington Hastings, Warwick. He was buried on 29 October 1907 in Leamington Hastings, Warwick.

He was enumerated on the census of 1871 in Leamington Hastings, Warwick, agricultural labourer (aged 32) with four children at home. He was enumerated on the census of 1881 in Leamington Hastings, Warwick, gardener for the Rev D.W.Sitwell and Parish Clerk: duties included - bell ringing, minding the clock, grave digging, assisting with services, collecting tithes, rates etc. He was enumerated on the census of 1891 in Leamington Hastings, Warwick, is living in Church Cottage with wife Ann & thomas 22, Joseph 15 and Mary 6 months. He was enumerated on the census of 1901 in at Leamington Hastings Widower with son Thomas and Daughter in Law Lucy.
